JCS Interiors secured a landmark accommodation project for Manchester University at their Fallowfield campus.

The construction of a new apartment block was commissioned by the University of Central Manchester, comprising of 1123 apartments, with shared bathrooms and dining areas.

About Our Work At Owens Park

We were asked to provide our specific skills to create partitions, ceilings, feature ceilings and plastering.

The project utilised off-site methods for the main structure by installing prefabricated SFS walls and putting them into place via a crane. This is a speciality of ours. We like it because it is quick, tidy, and low risk. For Owens Park, this enabled the contractor, Vinci, to commence the interior a couple of weeks later.

Being such a large and complex building, the project was programme critical. Not only that, but unforeseen delays that occurred before Vinci were contracted led to an extremely tight deadline. Our specialist team of experts rose to the challenge, beating the programme and delivering elements early.

Delivering on budget and on time is an area we pride ourselves on. We have worked on a number of projects that have a tight deadline.
