We were asked to form plasterboard bulkheads to carry the GRG ornate profiles. We integrated two systems to cut production time onsite.
JCS Interiors worked closely with the design team in developing a solution for high-level feature ceilings.
We used the Armstrong DGS system for Barton Square. We found this system much quicker than the standard MF system. Not only that, but due to the number of components required, the wastage created was vastly reduced, compared to other systems we have worked with.
The formers were constructed offsite. We used pieces of 18mm plywood, which we made into a jig. Then, the main runner was put onto the jig, cut, bent and fixed with angle brackets. This ensured the formers were made exactly the same every time.
